FAQ (page 3)How is the Shopping?Culebra has several small delightful gift shops, all within walking distance from Mamacitas Guest House. What About Dining on Culebra?Mamacitas Restaurant offers lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. If you have a room with a kitchen and would like to cook your own meals and eat in, we can direct you to nearby food markets and specialty stores. How Do We Get Around the Island?Car rental companies can provide airport or ferry drop off and pick up services. We can also arrange for an airport or ferry pickup, if you prefer not driving immediately after your arrival. Taxis are easily accessible; therefore renting a car is not absolutely necessary. What Should We Wear?Light, informal summer clothes are perfect for Culebra's year-round sunny weather. The average temperature is 82° Fahrenheit. In town, you will find that shorts and sandals are most comfortable. Dining is usually informal. In January and February in the evenings, you may want to bring along a light sweater. Can I Smoke in the Rooms?Sorry, there is a no smoking policy at Mamacitas Guest House because of Law #40 of the Puerto Rico Government. Are Pets Allowed in the Rooms at Mamacitas Guest House?Generally there is a no pet's policy at Mamacitas Guest House, but depending on the reason, we have been known to make exemptions on a case by case basis. If you are interested in bringing a pet, please call us and verify if we can make an exception for you.
